The Mescos
Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
It always brings me joy and happiness to be able to greet
you all.
I hope that the Lord blesses and helps you and your
families in your work and ministries in this new period of the year, when you
are going back to work after well-earned holidays.
We are just moving into spring after a series of
celebrations, including Peru Day and Arequipa Day. It was all very interesting
for us, and especially for the children in our school, who won our local
parade competition, wearing costumes from various parts of the regions around
us, which was beautiful.

Dear brothers and sisters, I am very grateful for your
prayers, and your financial support through SAMS UK, support given to all our
work in Peru and especially to our city of Arequipa. THANK YOU BROTHERS AND
SISTERS!! I do not believe that without your spiritual and material help
our work would do much good. God bless you richly and pay you and your
families back.
In our school we are always longing to build more
classrooms and this year we hope to start working with our plans, after having
faced many obstacles. The parents are really ready to help, and we hope to
achieve our objective.
Tomorrow I am travelling to the Colca Canyon with the
bishop, to see how we can meet the challenges faced there by our new San
Felipe (St Philip) mission. We need a missionary couple to work there.
My family are all well, thank God and thanks to your
prayers. My children are studying and our son Rolando will start his second
year in Calvary Chapel College in York this month.
Please pray for me. I need a lot of wisdom and spiritual
strength in order to move on with the work that we have been charged with, and
to take the necessary decisions.
I also ask you to pray for our diocese of Peru and our
bishop William Godfrey and his ministry.
Embracing you all and asking the Lord to guide you in
everything
Your servant in Christ, Alejandro Mesco
