Dear companions in mission, from the churches in the UK.
Warm greetings from Cabanaconde.
Forgive me for not getting in touch often. There are a variety of reasons,
one of which is that there is no internet in some villages, so I get in touch
when I return to Arequipa.
I want to show you the house we are building for the San
Felipe Mission. It is looking lovely, thanks to your financial support. Doris
and I hope to move there next year when the work is finished. We still need
washing facilities, electricity and some work in the kitchen.
Dear brothers and sisters do not forget that if you ever
come to Peru, you have a home in Cabanaconde.

Last week we started the work of excavating the trenches
for the drains. We badly need these for our house, and we are fulfilling our
dreams.

Finally we would ask for your prayers for the work which I
will start with the people here, sharing the good news. You all know that
building is tiring work, but can be done with a bit of effort. But now I have
to work with the hearts of people, and the enemy will not be very happy, and
has already tried to discourage us by stealing all our belongings from our
house in Arequipa in July. But our beloved God is marvellous in the way he
strengthens and consoles us, and encourages us to continue in the work; that
is why we are so grateful to you all for supporting us in this time of many
new experiences. THANK YOU.
