St. Barnabas
Prayer Ministry

Members of our Prayer Ministry Team are
available to pray with you after our 10.15 and 6.30 services. This team is
led by Pauline Barwick.
In addition to this, the Prayer Circle led by Margaret Brown responds to
prayer requests in emergency situations.
Prayer ministry is for everyone; we all need healing in some way. We
believe that through praying with others Jesus Christ meets us at our point of
need.
We believe that God loves us and wants the very best for us.
But we also know that we cannot escape suffering and difficulties.
God is
not distant. In Jesus Christ He shared in life's suffering and died on the
cross. He can draw close to us in difficult times.
His resurrection
in the power of the Holy Spirit gives us hope of a foretaste of his Kingdom here
and now. Through the Church's ministry we shall receive His love, strength
and healing touch for all our needs. These needs may include physical
illness, emotional or spiritual difficultiesand challenging situations we are
facing.
St. Barnabas Church offers prayer ministry during the Holy
Communion service and after any of the other services. Please make
yourself known to any of the clergy or members of the Prayer Ministry Team.
