St Barnabas Church

Schools Ministry Andrew Falconer is employed by St. Barnabas to work in nearby schools and in the local community. Barneys Shop This is a café run by volunteers from St. Barnabas. As well as serving delicious homemade dishes the shop sells cards and gifts. Prison Ministry Ann Watson, together with Gloria and Harry Holden, are involved in this ministry. Toddlers A group for 0 to 3 year-olds that meets on Wednesday mornings. Lydia Group This group meets to make useful knitted clothes and blankets for ‘Hope for Life Ministries’. They also make up parcels of food and other needed items. They meet on the last Friday of each month. Banner Making This group meets once a month in the Church Hall. Most people are involved in making banners for the church. Welcome Break This group provides a welcome to visitors on Monday mornings at the church. Drinks are provided. Gardening This group meets on Monday mornings to look after the church garden. Footloose Ladies This is ladies-only walking group who meets on Mondays. Guides and Scouts These groups meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Church Hall.
