This is a walk from church, along the Tees, to the sea, starting with coffee and bacon butties at church at 9 am. The walk is about 10 miles. Walkers will need to make own way back from coast (bus, train or arrange lift). The route will be as follows: down the Linthorpe Road to the Transporter Bridge, then along the Teesdale Way, ending at the Redcar Seafront car park at the northernmost end of the sea front. Here is the route of the Teesdale Way (https://www.walkingenglishman.com/ldp/teesdaleway.html ). It is possible to just do part of the walk, which passes various bus and train stops en route. Walkers need to bring their own lunch. The walk will end with prayers at 3 pm beside the sea, next to the car park. Although this is an urban walk, stout footwear is a good idea!
